Tips Temuduga di Bank

Assalammualaikum& Salam Sejahtera.

                                                    

Sesiapa yang baru hendak pergi ke temuduga pasti anda rasa berdebar kan, tetapi jangan risau, disini penulis ingin berkongsi Q & A temuduga yang penulis pernah hadiri dulu. Kebiasaannya bahasa Inggeris menjadi pilihan utama apabila ditemuduga di kebanyakkan syarikat. Disini penulis ingin berkongsi pengalaman penulis ditemuduga di bank. 

Bank A
Temuduga ini diadakan pada tahun 2016.  Ada 3 peringkat temuduga, iaitu:-

Fasa 1: English Exam - Jawab 30 soalan dalam masa 15 minit.
Fasa 2: Sekiranya lulus Fasa 1, temuduga dengan Pengurus HR
Fasa 3: Sekiranya lulus Fasa 2, temuduga dengan Hiring Manager

Sejujurnya, penulis memang lulus  Fasa 1 dan 2, tetapi Fasa 3 paling mengerikan sebab Hiring Manager memang akan bertanya soalan-soalan yang susah. Dibawah adalah contoh-contoh soalan temuduga.

A. How much salary do you prefer?  
Tips jawapan: Beri range salary yang average dalam industri perbankan @ apa jua pekerjaan yang kita mohon. Rajinkn buat research. Walaupun kita jawab terpulang kepada majikan untuk tetapkan gaji kita, kita boleh menjawab secara profesional berapa gaji yang kita jangkakan.

"I prefer a salary of  RM2500.00 as this is the average range of salary the for banking industry in Malaysia. However, this can be negotiated and depends on your management which we can discuss later." -contoh ayat-

B. Since we are doing shift jobs, do you okay with it? 
Tips: JAWAB DENGAN JUJUR.
Kalau yakin & memang begitu passionate nak kerja shift boleh jawab,
" Yes. I am willing & ready to work on shift & I understand as this is a part of the job requirement."

Kalau tidak pasti, boleh jawab:-
 "I will consider it. Perhaps I will take time to suit myself with the work-time here."

Kita tahu risiko kerja yang jadualnya ada waktu siang dan malam. Ini adalah keinginan anda sama ada anda boleh terima atau tidak. Jujurlah dengan diri sendiri agar kelak tidak mengalami sebarang kesukaran. Kalau tidak sanggup, jangan kecewa, carilah pekerjaan lain yang sesuai dengan anda.

C.Why did you quit your previous employment?
Sebolehnya jangan cerita keburukan majikan yang lepas. boleh jawab:-

"I quit because I want to pursue a career in another industry since I am much more interesting work in the banking sector. However, I appreciated everything my previous employer taught me & hope to apply the positive learning attitude to this job."

D. Did you have any negative experience with your previous employer?

Berhati-hatilah bila anda mendengar soalan begini. Ini adalah soalan perangkap dari hiring manager. Contoh ayat:-

"Previously, I received hard criticism about my job performance. The criticism sounds unfavorable to me but I took it positively and I afterward improved myself. For example, I asked my senior or colleagues their honest opinion about my attitude during my job & I also met the Human Resource manager to discuss how I can perform well in the future. After a month, I received positive feedback from my manager that I'm doing better than the last time"

Sekiranya anda pernah dikritik, berikan apa yang anda pelajari dari kesilapan lepas. Penulis tidak berjaya mendapat tawaran kerja disini namun ia memberi banyak pengalaman temuduga dengan penulis.

Bank B
Berikut adalah contoh soalan dan jawapan temuduga di bank ini:-

 1. Please introduce yourself.
"My name is Dahlia. I am a business graduate from XX University. Previously I worked as an officer (position, company, year). I have to (job function from current or past employment). Currently, I stayed at Serdang."


 2. How do you know about this job?
"I knew from my friend who is also working in Bank XX (If from a job portal, then mention from which portal). She told me there is a vacancy here so I would like to apply first."

 3. Working here is not the same aat s the local bank, the environment is different. So how do you look at yourself for the r next 5 years?
"For the next five years, I want to be someone who expert in this field (eg., expert in mortgage, expert in helping clients to fulfill their financial services, etc.). To achieve that, I will assess how do I perform within the first 6 months.  If my progress is good, I want to be on the next level or involve in another task. If my progress is unfavorable, I will discuss with my manager what can I do to improve myself.   


4(.Why do you quit from previous employment?
(Refer to answer from another bank.)


5. Can you give me an example of how you manage a difficult customer?

"I have experience in handling a difficult customer previously. The customer was unhappy that I asked him a few questions for validation purposes. He felt uncomfortable if he is exposing his details, I will misuse his information and he also disbelieved that I was calling from Bank. Therefore, as a solution, I read out the information that we saved & he need to answer yes or no. I also provided him the company's phone number so he can check whether I was calling from the bank. At last. the customer was willing to cooperate to proceed with the validation process."

Ini adalah berdasarkan pengalaman penulis sendiri. Anda harus fikirkan apa pengalaman sukar yang anda alami dengan pelanggan dan bagaimana anda mengatasi isu tersebut. 

6. Sometimes we have to stay back because of meetings & other matters. Are you okay with that?
" Yes, I'm okay with it."

(Kalau tidak okay, jangan memberi harapan palsu kepada syarikat. Jujur lebih baik."

Segala jawapan yang penulis bagi diatas boleh diubahsuai mengikut keadaan. Jangan copy paste bulat2 tanpa membuat sebarang kajian. Buatlah kajian dengan melayari website company & job position yang anda mohon itu. Jangan malu untuk bertanya dan emel HR untuk bawa dokumen apa sebelum hari temuduga.

Basic documents for interview:

1. I/C (original & salinan)

2. Education Certificates (original & salinan)

3. Gambar passport terbaru

4. Resume terbaru

5. EPF information  (if available)

6. Tax Income No. (if available)

7. References (Asingkan dari resume. Ini adalah sumber rujukan majikan bila diminta. Contoh: kita letak nama & contact no. ex-lecturer @ ex-supervisor)

Jangan lupa bawa pen. Datanglah sekurang-kurangnya 15-20 minit awal, jadi kalau anda kena isi borang atau perlu mengarang esei, anda sempat untuk membuat sebarang persiapan. Scan dan hantar semua dokumen kepada emel sendiri.

Tips: Scan dan emel semua dokumen penting ke emel anda, supaya anda ada backup files.
